Sarah Piampiano is one of the top female professional triathletes in the world. Sarah has competed in over 40 triathletes since going pro in 2012; has won the Ironman 70.3 New Orleans twice; and placed 7th in the world at the Ironman World Championships in Kona this year.
While Sarah grew up an active kid in an athletic family, she shifted her focus to developing her finance career upon graduating college in 2002. Sarah found success in the financial industry, and was happy working 90-100+ hour weeks and traveling two weeks a month all across the globe. But after that first triathlon in 2009, she realized her true passion.
Now Sarah not only competes in about nine Ironman competitions each year, but she also started the Habit Project, an online forum dedicated to helping break unhealthy habits via daily challenges. The challenges range from fitness and nutrition-related to motivational to general well being; Sarah's goal is to motivate and inspire people to change their lives for the better by phasing out bad habits and replacing them with good ones.
