Ashley Van Ryn is a current National Team Athlete for USA Team Handball and has represented the United States in over 100 international games, serving as captain for the U.S. Women’s Beach Handball National Team since 2018.
She grew up playing multiple sports, including softball, basketball, track & field, and soccer in High School and went on to play 4-years of Division 1 Softball at the University of Central Florida, winning two conference championships. Ashley also focused heavily on academics, graduating in the top 1% of her class, and has now had a successful career in Employee Health & Benefits for 10 years.
Discovering team handball in her late 20’s, Ashley quickly realized two key ingredients to ongoing success: nutrition and sleep!
Her hobbies include any sand-based sport, coffee, farmer’s markets, stand-up paddleboarding, game nights/shows (she was featured on the Price is Right!), and being active in her community and church.
