Abby Gustaitis

Sleep is my #1 recovery method for optimal performance on and off the field. A great night’s sleep is necessary for my body and mind to rebuild in order to maximize each day’s output.

Abby Gustaitis is an American rugby player who began playing in 2010 at the University of Maryland. In college, she earned All-American honors, after which she went on to play senior club rugby with Northern Virginia Women's Rugby.

From 2015-16, Gustaitis was a resident at the Olympic Training Site in Chula Vista, CA where she captained Scion Rugby and helped them win a Club 7s National Championship. That same year, she earned her first cap with the USA Women's National Team XVs and went on to compete in Rugby World Cup 2017 in Ireland.

Gustaitis made her HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series debut at the 2017 Dubai Sevens, helping the United States to a silver medal. She was selected for Rugby World Cup Sevens 2018 in San Francisco and was named Co-Captain for the 2019-20 season. Gustaitis was part of the USA Women's Sevens team who won their first-ever gold medal in Biarritz and added a consecutive gold in Glendale in 2019.

She lives with former rugby payer and fiancé, Alex Corbisiero, in San Diego, CA.
